Prom & School Formal Venue in Atlanta

The West Venue is a dramatic, blank-canvas event space on Atlanta's Upper Westside with 30-foot ceilings, a 10-foot grand chandelier, full color-changing LED lighting, and a built-in projection mapping system. It makes an impression the moment the doors open, and it is a space that schools, PTAs, and booster clubs can plan around. Alcohol-free events are welcome, a venue security guard is included in every school booking, and it is easy to bill to a school.

Why Atlanta schools book The West Venue

• The room does the work. A color-changing LED ceiling, projection mapping, and a 10-foot chandelier mean your decor budget stretches further.

• Two spaces, one venue. Use the Hall for the main event and the Lounge for a photo backdrop, chill-out room, or pre-function.

• Room for the whole class. Seat up to 270 students at round tables in the Hall, or open it up for 300 or more with a dance-floor-forward layout. Combine the Hall and Lounge for larger schools.

The spaces

The Hall

4,700 square feet of ballroom space that seats 270 guests at round tables. It features a 10-foot grand chandelier, tall wood ceilings, full-ceiling color-changing LED lighting, and a state-of-the-art projection mapping system.

The Lounge

2,500 square feet of industrial loft space with 20-foot ceilings. It seats 150 at round tables or holds 200 or more for a standing, cocktail-style layout. It includes a large built-in bar that works well as a mocktail or refreshment station, metal chandeliers, and two large projection walls.

Pricing below is taken directly from our Info and Pricing page. Rentals are 8 hours unless noted. Most proms, homecomings, and winter formals fall on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, so these are the rates you will usually be quoting:

When to book

Georgia prom season runs March through May, and the best Saturday dates are reserved 6 to 12 months in advance. Homecoming and winter formals typically book 3 to 6 months out. If you have a date in mind, reach out early so we can hold it.

Can we host an alcohol-free prom?

Yes. Many of our school events have no bar service at all.

Do you require security?

Yes. One security guard provided by the venue is required for every school event, and it is arranged through us. You are welcome to bring additional school officers and chaperones, and we will help you build an entry and check-in plan.

How many students fit?

270 seated in the Hall, 300 or more with a lounge-style layout, and more when the Hall and Lounge are combined.

Can the school pay by check or purchase order?

Yes. We can invoice the school directly.

When should we book?

For a spring prom, 6 to 12 months ahead. For homecoming and winter formals, 3 to 6 months ahead.

Can we bring our own DJ and decorator?

Yes, as long as they are licensed and insured.

How much setup time do we get?

The 8-hour rental covers most events. Add the 11-hour option for elaborate builds.
